Se posiciona la Riviera Maya como destino del Caribe Mexicano preferido
Madrid, España.- Durante el evento inaugural de la Feria Internacional Turística de Madrid, España: Fitur 2023, la Riviera Maya destacó como uno de los destinos mexicanos de playa preferidos, por sus bellezas naturales, culturales, así como por una oferta hotelera que casi alcanza los 60 mil cuartos de hotel y una gran calidad en el servicio, afirmó el presidente de la Asociación de Hoteles de la Riviera Maya, Toni Chaves.
“Nos encontramos en Fitur, que este año tiene una asistencia masiva de visitantes, casi récord y está siendo un día fructífero con muchas reuniones con líneas aéreas, mayoristas, tour operadores y agencias de viajes, donde estamos notando que hay una gran demanda del destino Riviera Maya (Tulum y Solidaridad) y con grandes expectativas por la llegada de nuevas cadenas e inversiones hoteleras”, señaló.
Agregó que comparativamente, el 2019 contra el 2022, la Riviera Maya cuenta hoy con 90 hoteles nuevos “y estamos por alcanzar los 60 mil cuartos hoteleros en este destino”, acentuó.
Reconoció que también hay una gran demanda en la Fitur de los destinos del Caribe Mexicano en general y, de la mano con la agenda de la gobernadora Mara Lezama y la presidenta municipal de Solidaridad, “estamos celebrando los 30 años de creación del municipio, donde hay hermanamientos con ciudades de España tan importantes como Valladolid”, mencionó el hotelero.
En el mismo tenor se pronunció David Ortiz Mena, presidente de la Asociación de Hoteles de Tulum, al destacar la gran presencia de visitantes a la Feria, así como el hecho de que el Caribe Mexicano se sume a los destinos mexicanos preferidos y que esta vez ya traen una imagen unificada como país y una buena promoción turística impulsada por los tres niveles de gobierno y los propios empresarios.
El líder hotelero opinó que es probable que esta feria bata récords de asistencia en esta edición, además de adelantar que seguramente habrá buenas noticias para el destino, después de finalizar el evento.
El Pabellón de México, en la Feria Internacional Turística de Madrid, España: Fitur 2023, es uno de los más grandes, con mil 110 metros cuadrados, 105 booths, una comitiva integrada por 270 participantes, entre empresarios, representantes de 17 estados y prestadores de servicios turísticos, que a lo largo de esta semana presentarán sus productos y paquetes, ante los compradores en esta feria turística.
